Smith, Vivian Lorena – 93 of Truro passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Nuttby, she was a daughter of the late Gertrude (McNutt) and William (W.L.) McNutt. Vivian enjoyed community activities such as Legion and Bible Hill Fire Department involvement. She also enjoyed bowling in the local leagues. She is survived by son, Wayne (Fay), Kemptown; daughters, Heather (Bruce) Sandeson, Dartmouth, Barbara (Stephen) Smith, Dartmouth; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Eileen, B.C.; sister-in-law, Judy McNutt; brother-in-law, Elbert (Doreen) Smith, Bible Hill. She was predeceased by her husband, Sherman; sisters, Hilda Rector, Madeline in infancy; brother, James McNutt. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21 from 1:00 pm until time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Donna Lawrence officiating. Spring interment in Bible Hill Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to St. David’s United Church, Bible Hill or Bible Hill Cemetery.
