Allan Edward Percy McIntyre – 76, Truro Heights, passed away on April 15, 2017 with his wife, Kathleen and stepdaughters, Karen and Marlene at his side. Allan was born in Hamilton, Ontario and was the son of the late Cornelius and Gladys (Jewel) McIntyre. He was employed for many years with Crossley Carpets, Truro. Allan leaves behind his loving wife, Kathleen; children, Trevor (Margie) Brantford, Ont., Cathy Robbilard (Terry), Smithville, Ont., Penny, Brantford, Ont., Sherry, Hamilton, Ont., Randall (Karen), Lower Sackville; twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sisters, Katie Lambert, Hamilton, Ont., Sherry Langtree (Matt), Okanagen Valley, BC. Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by brother, William and his sister, Barb. The family wish to thank Pastor Lisa Gervais for her care and support and for being with them through this most difficult time. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
