Donald Alan Linkletter – 64, Truro/Musquodoboit Harbour, passed away April 15, 2017 in QEII Halifax Infirmary. Don was involved and worked his entire life in the trucking industry. He worked with Commercial Safety Surveys as a driving instructor as well as with Midland Transport for 18 accident free years. Don also worked with MacKay’s Volvo in sales and most recently, as manager of East Coast International-Truro. He will be missed by all who knew him. Don leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Anita; sons, Ron and Chris (Irene); grandson, Jonas, step grandsons, Nic and Tom (Kennedy) Elliott, step great grandson, Bill Elliott; brothers, Maurice (Nancy), Arthur (Nancy); sister, Jennifer (Charles) Brunet; sisters in law, Dianne (Donnie) Arenburg, Teresa Bowser, Joanne Cook; nine nieces and nephews; several second cousins as well as several cousins in Holland. He was predeceased by parents, Maurice and Johanna (Bourgonje) Linkletter. The family welcome friends to a Graveside Service which will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 2pm in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. A Reception and Time of Remembrance will follow at the family home, 246 Middle Road, Debert.
