It is with sadness that I learned of Earl's passing, but it is happiness that I feel when I think of Earl. Earl was a pioneer in Fisheries Surveillance and was a part of a great crew of former DND flyers that initially started out in DFO offshore surveillance. Earl was always a professional and very easy to work with any time of the day. It is interesting to note that I retired very close to where Earl lived in Middle Musquodoboit. I have only good memories of Earl and wish to pass along my condolences to his friends and family. Hugh Parker
