Sidney “Ross” Kennedy, February 6, 1942 – October 9, 2017. After a lengthy illness, Ross passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Ross is survived by wife, Irene (Weir), Middleton; son, Dewayne Kennedy, Truro; sisters, Avis Tufts, Shubenacadie and Wenda Andrews, Stewiacke; brothers, Laurie (Doris), Hilden and Orland (Verna), Pleasant Valley. He was predeceased by parents, Elwood and Myrtle (Carter) Kennedy; brother, Leroy (Esther) Kennedy. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Private family interment will be held at a later date in Lower Pleasant Valley Cemetery. If so desired, remembrances may be made to the Lower Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
