Obituary for Reginald Fulton

Reginald  Fulton
Reginald Scotfield Fulton – 86, Bass River, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Reg was born in Everett Mass. to Harry Knight Fulton and Hazel Alice (Thompson) Fulton on Sept.28, 1931. He worked in the woods, on bridges for Highways and was the owner/operator of the Bass River Garage with his wife, Betty. Reg enjoyed the woods and being at the camp, hunting, fishing, gardening and reminiscing with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, June Elizabeth “Betty” nee Taylor; daughters, Martha (Steve Brown), Bass River, June (Vincent Margiewicz), Bristol, TN, Annette (David Jennings) Masstown and son, Patrick (Jeanette) Fall River; his sister, Alice Fulton, Bass River; grandchildren: Rebecca Brown, Hilden, Taylor Brown, Campbell River, Samantha Moore (Kyle) Old Barns; Vincent, James (Francisca) and John Margiewicz, New York, Lindsay Jennings Greenfield, Kyler Jennings (Lex) Masstown; Jacob and Jaclyn Fulton, Fall River; great grandchildren, Kaden, Charlene, Ava, Connor, Fulton and Mathew. Predeceased by son Jeffery Richard, parents, Harry and Hazel Fulton and brother, Theodore. A family graveside service will be held Thursday, November 16 at 2pm in Riverside United Cemetery, Bass River with Rev. Florence Antle-Brison officiating. The family invite all to join them for a Celebration of Life Reception that will follow in the Bass River Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colchester Branch SPCA or charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
