Condolence: So sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. I practice taught with her plus ran into her and Don in Enfield at Horne family functions. I always enjoyed her notes on her Christmas cards. Such an inspirational lady!

Condolence: You not likely will recognize my name, but your mother enjoyed my music and was the first person to buy my latest CD as I dropped it off to her on my way home from Halifax where I had it produced. She was excited about going home for Christmas and spending time with the family.She was always front and centre each month as I sing, when at MacLeod House. I will miss her smiles and encouragement. We were very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I was so fortunate to have taught at St. Mary's School in Truro with Barb. Even though Barb retired in 1981 we have continued our friendship over 36 years. Barb never forgot my birthday or Christmas and always remembered them with a kind note enclosed in a card. Barb will be remembered as someone who always had a positive outlook on life, a smile on her face and a great sense of humor. She made everyone around her feel special. Condolence: Our sincere condolences to the Gordon family. I only know of Mrs. Gordon through her fabulous grandson Jacob. His reverence for his grandmother has made it clear that she was an important part of instilling his maturity and drive. Her memory will surely live on through her family.

Condolence: Sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. She was a lovely lady, her and Don were such good neighbors and landlords to my mom, Ethel, for many years. There was always a chuckle or two with her quick wit whenever I had the pleasure to speak with her. Condolences to all of the family.

Condolence: My condolences to the family and friends of Barbara. I got to know Barbara from visiting her weekly at McLeod House through the Pastoral Care Ministry at Immaculate Conception Church. She was a very sweet and reverent lady. She had a great sense of humour and I always looked forward to our visits. She was special and will be missed by all who knew her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace. Amen.
