Condolences

Condolence From: Gary & Sharon McCully Croft
Condolence: To Carl,

Gary & I were so saddened to learn of Doug's passing.

We also had visited him at Cedarstone, and he was sleeping. Sharon spoke to him and told him we were with him, and we are sure he knew it was us. He really tried to wake up to my voice.

Your Father was a very well liked school bus driver, strict with the kids but also very kind.
Doug was Gary's bus driver when he was young. He joked with the kids, and was always happy and caring.

Your Father was a special man and a Centurian!

Gary & I remember many visits from Doug & Jennie at the farm. They usually came on Sunday nights to visit with Mom & Dad, and we would be there. Doug always joked with us, and made us laugh. He just had that special gift of making you laugh!

Doug is finally reunited with his loving wife Jennie, who we remember passed away in April of 2013. This was just four months after Sharon's Dad, Beatty, passed away. They both attended his funeral.

We truly loved your Dad & Mom, and are glad that Doug is now at peace.

With our sincere sympathy,

Gary & Sharon

Condolence: Dear Carl,

I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy on your Father's passing.

Beatty and I had some great times with Doug & Jennie, and they were our good friends.

I am now living at Cedarstone, and visited Doug on a couple of occasions. He was sleeping both times, so I didn't disturb him.

Doug was one year older than Beatty, and Doug made it to 100 yrs!

Your memories of your Dad will help during this sad time.

Sincerely,

Grace McCully
