MURRAY, Robert Oran Masstown, 90, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Born in Masstown on March 18, 1928, he was a son of the late John D. and Flora (Dykeman) Murray. He spent his life working for Ford at Glassey Motors, Briarwood, and Concept Ford in Truro. He spent his retirement years happily farming in Masstown. He is survived by his loving common-law wife; Beverly Covey, sons, Wade (Rhona), Robert (Cara), Garth Murray and daughter, Krista (Greg) Marsh, all of Masstown. Stepdaughters, Elspeth (David) White, Lower Sackville and Kirsty (Cory) Field, Millet AB. Grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Matthew and Beth Murray, all of Masstown; Warren, Ian, and Russell White, Lower Sackville. Brother, Harold Murray, Debert; sisters, Marjorie Clarke, Truro, Teresa (Patrick) Kinnear, Charlottetown PEI. Aunt Helen (Murray) McMaster, Debert. Many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife Rona (Higgins) Murray, in-laws, Grant Higgins and Marlene MacKinnon. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 12, from 1 – 2 pm with funeral service following at 2 pm both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
