Obituary for Peter LeBlanc

Peter   LeBlanc
Peter Victor LeBlanc – 64, Belmont, Colchester Co., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Truro, he was a son of Lorraine (Vienneau) and the late Victor LeBlanc.

Peter spent many years in the retail business formally with TRA and most recently being self-employed as owner of Onslow Market. He was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed Motorcycles particularly Kawasakis. Astronomy was also an interest as well as he enjoyed travelling with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. A special thank you to Palliative Care in particular, Angela McDonnell who guided Peter and his family through this time.

Peter is survived by his wife, Amanda (Pearce), mother, Lorraine; son, Richard; daughter, Michelle (Kevin); grandchildren, Jessalyn, Brianna and Bailey; sisters, Patsy (Bob), Holly (Harley); brothers, Brian (Liz), Mike (Barb), Gary; nieces and nephews, Jason, Garrett, Alyssa, Aaron, Destini, Tessa, Joseph, Chevonne. He was predeceased by his father, Victor LeBlanc.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
