Condolence: We moved to Truro in 2012 which is not long ago but part of me feels like I have known Ted for a lifetime. We appreciated his love for the game and his fierce competitiveness. WE had some great chats about the game - he will be so missed at the club.
A great memory that will stick with me forever is the first year at the awards night Ted was giving out the prizes for stick league and he kept saying the winner of 1st half was "MOI" and then the winner of 2nd half was "MOI" - it makes me smile to remember how he said it and the laugh from the crowd.
Take care and cherish the memories
Condolence: So sorry to hear of Ted's passing, our families condolences to
all of you, i will always have many great memories of my time spent with Ted in Greenwood "lines good, weights good , Burn it" . rest in peace friend .
Condolence: I was a rookie curling umpire when I first met Ted. There is nothing that lets you get to know someone than spending many hours for several days together and I got that as Ted mentored my progress in this area of the sport. He was patient and knowledgeable with me and I have always appreciated that. More recently I had talked with him about establishing a new lawn bowling facility. Again he was eager to share his expertise and enthusiasm.
Ted's presence on this earth will be missed by many and I know that his family have the biggest loss. My sincere condolences to all of you as you remember Ted today and celebrate his life. I wish you peace of heart and the support of family and friendsas you adjust to life without him.
Condolence: My thoughts are with Ted's family at this very sad time. Personally, I feel we have lost someone bigger than life. Our curling club will never feel the same to me as Ted was always such an important part of it. Ted was always a supporter of my curling teams over the years and followed our progress closely. Ted was a fierce competitor on the ice and I will miss his voice calling out for his sweepers to "hurry hard". I can only imagine all the wonderful memories Ted's family must have and I know they will help them theough this very difficult time.
We were so sorry to hear of your loss. From the time we moved to Truro in 1993 Ted was always an integral part of the Curling Club and we were so glad to get to know you all in the years since. We hope fond memories and old stories will help you find peace in this difficult time.
Condolence: Dear Judy and family:
Frank and Vivian Scott and family wish to extend our condolences at your loss. Your whole family was an important part of our lives when we were young and living at the base, and Ted was a favourite friend. Frank and Jimmy have especially fond memories of the Boston trips. We are thinking of you and we hope you can find comfort in the memory of so many good times.
