Condolence From: Marion MacAulay and Phil Redden
Condolence: We moved to Truro in 2012 which is not long ago but part of me feels like I have known Ted for a lifetime. We appreciated his love for the game and his fierce competitiveness. WE had some great chats about the game - he will be so missed at the club. A great memory that will stick with me forever is the first year at the awards night Ted was giving out the prizes for stick league and he kept saying the winner of 1st half was "MOI" and then the winner of 2nd half was "MOI" - it makes me smile to remember how he said it and the laugh from the crowd. Take care and cherish the memories

Condolence From: Kathy Siddall
Condolence: I was a rookie curling umpire when I first met Ted. There is nothing that lets you get to know someone than spending many hours for several days together and I got that as Ted mentored my progress in this area of the sport. He was patient and knowledgeable with me and I have always appreciated that. More recently I had talked with him about establishing a new lawn bowling facility. Again he was eager to share his expertise and enthusiasm. Ted's presence on this earth will be missed by many and I know that his family have the biggest loss. My sincere condolences to all of you as you remember Ted today and celebrate his life. I wish you peace of heart and the support of family and friendsas you adjust to life without him.

Condolence From: Colleen Pinkney
Condolence: My thoughts are with Ted's family at this very sad time. Personally, I feel we have lost someone bigger than life. Our curling club will never feel the same to me as Ted was always such an important part of it. Ted was always a supporter of my curling teams over the years and followed our progress closely. Ted was a fierce competitor on the ice and I will miss his voice calling out for his sweepers to "hurry hard". I can only imagine all the wonderful memories Ted's family must have and I know they will help them theough this very difficult time.
