Condolence: Dear Betty, Family and Josie:

I have been away this past week and just found out about Leonard’s passing. I was very saddened to hear this news. I always loved seeing Leonard, whether at church functions, walking or at the grocery store. We always shared a little story or two and laughed all the while. He was a true gentleman and will be missed by so many people. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. May the Lord provide strength for the family left behind during the days and months ahead

Love Jeanine and Nick Clague

Condolence: Betty and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Leonard's passing. I first met Leonard when I joined Saint Vincent de Paul Society. We quickly got to know each other through hauling many loads of furniture for the SVDP from the donators to those in need, sometime looking like the Beverly Hillbillies going down the road with the truck rounded up over the cab of the truck with the chair on top of the load.
Leonard had a true compassion for the poor and touched many lives with his generosity and showed new members of how to be good servants to whom we serve by first giving a little of our time.

Condolence: Dear Betty (Mrs MacNeil), Jake, Karen, Peter, Billy, Patricia and Margaret (& attached families). I need not tell you that Leonard (Mr. McNeil to us) was one of a kind. A permanent fixture of Ross street. We always think of him on our way to Cape Breton, as we pass the "Egerton" turnoff - the only guy we ever knew from there. You are all in our prayers and thoughts.
