Edith Rose (Marsh) Cochrane – 81, Bible Hill, Colchester Co. N.S.

Our mom passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday morning, August 25, 2018 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie, Vicki and Pam; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tyler and Austin; great-grandson, Ash. Edith was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Keith; son in law, George and her parents, Gordon and Rose Marsh. Our mom was a founding member of the Bible Hill Ladies Auxiliary. She was active with them until her final months. Our mom was the foundation of our family and we are proud to call her mom. She raised us, guided us and believed in us. Your work here is done, thank you for everything – we love you. The family would like to thank the nursing staff on E3 for the care given. A special thank you to Dr. Jan Sommers and nurse, Rachel MacDonald. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28 from 1-1:45pm followed by Memorial Service at 2pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Pastor Caleb Kelly officiating. Private Family Interment to follow in Bible Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. If so desired, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
