Barbara Ann Scott (Sexton), Truro, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on September 29, 2018 at 8:57 am. Barb was born in Halifax on January 10, 1942. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Philip Harold Scott and their eight children, Linda, Dorothy, Stephen, Samuel, Douglas, Michael, Yvonne and Philip; nineteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and a very large loving extended family. Barb enjoyed family time. It wasn’t uncommon for the family to start playing guitar and singing, which often became an impromptu kitchen party. She was always up for a game of cards and took great pleasure anytime the girls beat the boys but her passion was darts. Barb will be remembered as a very loving, kind, caring and generous person who enjoyed life to the fullest. Cremation has taken place with no visitation or funeral service by family request. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
