Condolences

Condolence From: Kirk Caudle
Condolence: Stephen and Catherine I was so saddened to hear of Uncle Cecil's passing. I always looked at uncle Cecil as great man. Nanny and Grampy always talked about him of hockey, hunting and working on the railroad (those was big things for a kid). Later was going fishing and hunting with him and Dad to realize it was a thing they both like and helped formed me to be my passion of the outdoors. It was quite apparent they loved each other. uncle Cecil always spoke of how well you guys was doing and what you accomplished. He will never be far away, when we look inwards we realize he is part of who we are. I am thankful of that. God bless you

Condolence: My sincere condolence to Cecil's family. We were friends from Alice St Grade 3 in 1939. We played hockey together and did all those things east enders did in those times. I moved away for 40 years and when Cecil came to see me after that we recognized each other right away. Babe and Fred Henderson and I had our last visit in his room 3 weeks ago and I'm so glad we did. I will miss Cecil in my life. Fred MacInnes

Condolence: My sincere sympathy to Catherine, Steven and their families on the loss of their father. I've known Cecil since we were boys growing up in the East End and I was the best man at his wedding. I have many memories of the fishing trips at my camp with Cecil, Don Cummings and Frank MacKay. My last visit with Cecil was a few years ago when we went to a seniors' dance in Salmon River. He was in great spirits and danced all evening. A good last memory.
