George "Dusty"  Lindsay
Lindsay, George “Dusty” Elvin Ernest Jr., 50, Belmont, passed away suddenly at home on October 21, 2018. Born in Truro, he was the son of Linda Lou Lindsay and the late George Lindsay. Dusty loved fishing, hunting and time spent at the lake. He was the owner/operator of G. Lindsay Drilling in Tumbler Ridge, B.C. for many years. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving partner, Joann Culgin; step-son, Blayne Turner; step-father, Walter Tingley; sister, Kim Lindsay; brother, John (Debbie); grandmother, Hilda Reid; aunts, Nancy Pratt, Susie Reid, Reta Pynn and Shirley Armsworthy; uncles, Brian Pratt, Rockwell Staples Sr., Bobby Buchanan, Gary Lindsay and Ross Lindsay; several nieces and nephews and his loyal companions, Buddy and Bentley.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his grandfather, Elvin Lewis Reid; grandparents, Ernest and Francis Lindsay; uncles, Ivan Armsworthy and Manny Pynn; aunt, Judy Buchanan.
No visitation or service by his request. Cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to the Colchester S.P.C.A.
