I just wanted to say that it was a privilege to look after Wendell at Debert Court. Knowing his history and what he has done for our community not only as a business man but involvement in the fire dept. and countless other opportunities he has provided for the area, he was a truly wonderful, devoted man. My role as a CCA in providing care for him, seeing family almost daily in our facility only shows what a wonderful person he was and how much his family loved and cared for him. I found him to have a dry sense of humor and was a very stern like person. Under that straight and strict demeanor, just a look could turn into being a beautiful moment when he gave you one of those incredible heart warming grins. I will miss him at Debert Court, but I know he now being looked after by a devine presence.
