Obituary for Miranda Tipping (Pickrem)

Miranda  Tipping (Pickrem)
Tipping, Miranda Dawn (Pickrem) – 32 of Maitland, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 25th, 2018 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.

Daughter of Richard and Donna (Lynds) Pickrem. Miranda is also survived by her husband, Jeffrey Tipping, their son Maverick; sister, Tiffany Chapman (Spencer), niece, Kamdyn Chapman; grandparents, Don and Marg Pickrem, great grandfather, Eric Monroe; parents-in-law, Carol and Jamie Bushie, father-in-law, Charles Tipping; along with her extensive list of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Murray and Lillian Lynds, uncle, Darrell Lynds, great grandmother, Avis Munroe and her great grannie Flinstone (Cecilia Lynds).

Miranda loved being with her family, gardening, motocross and she had a lifelong passion for horses or any outdoor activity that was thrown her way. She was a special kind of person that loved hard, cared hard and fought even harder for everything. Celebration of life will be held on November 3rd, 2018 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 26, 42 Brunswick St., Truro from 2 – 4 pm. Drop in or stay and share a memory, food and refreshments provided.

Donations can be made to a Trust Fund for Maverick in care of Tiffany Chapman (902-986-6779). Special thanks to CEHHA Palliative Care Nursing Team, Dr. Courtney Smith, Dr. Rowe, Dr. Ravi Ramjeesingh (Oncologist), Colchester East Hants VON Nursing Team and Dr. Robert Graham. To everyone who supported Miranda’s fundraisers in some way, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
