Giles, David Hugh, 71 – Great Village. It is with great sadness that the family of David Hugh Giles announce his passing on November 16, 2018. He was born in Halifax, N.S. to the late Thomas and Joan (Edwards) Giles. David leaves behind by his loving wife, Beverly (Smith ) Giles; children, Correne (Lorenzo) Dredge, Margaree, Penny (Robert) Arab, Centreville; step-children, Karen (Rob) Putnam, Belmont and Derek ( Natalie) Taggart, Fredericton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Oran, Piran, Alice, Freddie; step-grandsons, Reid and Craig; foster grandchildren, Jaico, Mary, Mary Ann and Nalli; sisters, Theresa (Les) Hewson, Barry’s Bay, O.N. and Tricia (Paul) Haley, Riverview, N.B. David worked as a tractor-trailer operator for Ben’s Bakery which later became a part of Canada Bread. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 7th from 2 - 6 p.m. in the Debert Hospitality Centre, 130 Ventura Dr., Debert.
