Maloney, Tyson Isaiah, 36, Millbrook. It is great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, father, brother, uncle, cousin. Tyson Isaiah Maloney of Millbrook First Nation, born September 29th, 1982 died peacefully at home on November 18, 2018. He is survived by his parents Steve and Linda Maloney; brothers, Derek (Brittany), Michael (Janice); sisters, Justine and Jillian; sons, Kalem, Jake and their mother Priscilla Beadle and Tyce and his mother Nadia Denny. Many Special aunts, uncles and cousins; several nieces and nephews, Dakota, Dakota jij, Dallas, Waylon, Jaxon, Luc, Mia, Adara, Aliyah and Ezra; Godchild, Adessa; Godparents, Jake and Barb Maloney. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mary and Steve Maloney, Indian Brook First Nation; maternal grandparents, Mary Cope, Millbrook First Nation and Mike Bernard, Eel Ground First Nation/ Wallace Crowell, Millbrook, N.S. Tyson will be remembered for his humour, kindness, generosity, and infectious smile. He loved spending time with his boys hunting and fishing. Tyson’s real passion was hockey, scouted at an early age with his brother Derek, he was an accomplished hockey player in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and other high-level leagues. He loved being out on the water and was a successful snow crab, lobster and tuna fisherman. He will be sadly missed, forever young and never forgotten. Visitation will be held in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro beginning Thursday, November 22 from 3pm-9pm and Friday, November 23 from 4pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 24 at 11am in Sacred Heart Church, Millbrook, with Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. Salité and Meal will follow in Millbrook Community Hall. Burial will take place at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Millbrook. Donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
