David McColough Lundie – 80, Great Village. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dave Lundie on Saturday, November 24, 2018. He was born to the late David Galloway and Frances Lundie (McColough) of Great Village. He is survived by daughter, Sheri (Lloyd) Great Village; sons, Shawn, Banff, AB, Derek (Melony), Devon, AB; partner, Gina McCulloch, Shubenacadie; stepsons, Daniel and Warren (Farrah); granddaughters, Courtney, Carly, Taylor, Ashalen, Hope and Melady; former wife, Diane Lundie; brother-in-law, Phil Harrison; niece and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by infant daughter, Annette; sister, Margie Harrison. Dad was a man of many talents, he graduated with a diploma in Radio Electronic and Television servicing in June 1959. He owned Village TV Sales and Servicing in Bible Hill up until his retirement. He was a proud member of the Great Village Fire Brigade for 62 years, the last 24 as Fire Chief. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. Dad loved spending time doing puzzles and playing cards and spending his weekends at Gina’s. Special thanks to all the VON nurses, Homecare and First Responders for all your love and care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28 from 1pm until time of Firefighter Tribute Service at 2pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Reception will follow. Spring interment in Folly Village Cemetery, Glenholme. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Great Village Fire Brigade.
