Obituary for Deborah Jordan

Jordan, Deborah Lou – 67, Bible Hill. It is with great sorrow that the family of Debbie Jordan announce her passing on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Londonderry on July 13, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Turner) Casey of Londonderry. Debbie loved food and anything to do with food. She enjoyed being a cook at Fletcher’s for many years. She also loved to prepare the Christmas feast for all of her sisters, brothers and the whole Casey family. She will always be remembered for the best Cherry Cream dessert and turkey dressing. Debbie was always there no matter what, if you needed a cup of tea and just have a chat. Her warm and endearing hugs will be missed greatly. She is survived by her loving husband, Gordie Jordan, Bible Hill; sons, David (Amy) Jordan, Bible Hill, Todd (Amanda) Jordan, Berwick, Jodi (Murray) Jordan, Calgary. Her eight grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Brooklyn, Shyla, Blayke, Lexie, Hunter, Wes, Colton and Sadie. Also survived by her siblings; Glenn Casey (Karen), Brenda Mosher (James), Carol MacKenzie (Sedley), Kenneth Casey (Patty), Chris Casey (Sonya), Timmy Casey (Beth), Pat Findlay (Kevin) and Paul Casey. She was a much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all of the staff in Palliative Care Unit along with a special thank you to Chris and Sonya for all of your help and support. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. The family would like you to join them to celebrate Deborah’s life on Saturday, January 19th from 2-4p.m. at the Bible Hill Fire Hall.
