Hart, Mary “Jane” Elizabeth (MacLellan) – 63, Truro, passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2019 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of James and the late Muriel (Brenton) MacLellan. Jane loved to knit, going to the show, eating at “The Big Stop” with her family and of course Diet Pepsi. She had a special love for her grandchildren, they meant the world to her.
Besides her father, she is survived by daughters, Tiffany MacLellan (Fred), Amanda (Scott) Verge; grandchildren, Chandler Bennett, Hailey Bennett and Emma Verge; sisters, Kathy Burgess, Jamie (Doug) Crockett and Kelly (Phil) Malinas; brothers, Larry (Tammy) MacLellan, Ronald MacLellan and Mark MacLellan (Tony Kennedy).
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 7 at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. John Parsons officiating.
