Obituary for David Langlands

David Patrick Langlands – 61, Debert, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 26, 2019 at home. Born in Fredericton, N.B. he was the eldest son of the late John and Millie Langlands.
David served with the Canadian Forces from 1976-1978 and worked as an Air Traffic Controller from 1980-1989. He was honourably released from the regular force. He worked as an extra and a personal assistant in the TV and Movie Industry for the last few years. David met his wife, Valerie in 2008 and they subsequently married in 2016. She was the love of his life. He also obtained his B.A. degree from Dalhousie University, majoring in history.
David leaves behind his wife, Valerie; daughters, Beth Martin, Winnipeg, Man., McKenzie Langlands (Nic), Nova Scotia; sons, David Miller, Montreal, Que., Dillon Langlands, Cornwall, Ont.; grandchildren, Huxley, Evelyn, Sebastian and Gabriel; step children; Georgie and Kim Davies; sisters, Carolyn, Heather; brothers, Don, Rick, Jim, Doug and their children.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by daughter, Andreya Langlands.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1 from 2-4pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
