Merritt, Sheila Ann – 63, Truro. It is with great sadness that the family of Sheila Ann Merritt announces her passing on May 6, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre following a brief illness. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Lyall and Marguerite (McMaster) Harvey. Sheila will be truly missed by her husband of almost 30 years, Kevin; sister, Avis (Johnny Shannon) Harvey, and her most recent love, her kitty, Taz. Sheila is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held in Hilden Cemetery on Monday, May 13th at 2 p.m. with Rev. Michael Henderson officiating. Reception to follow at the home of her sister, Avis, 1922 Highway 2, Hilden, N.S. Donations in Shelia’s memory may be made to the Colchester Community Workshop or to the Hilden Cemetery.
