Gatza, Louis Albert – 85, Truro formerly of New Victoria, Cape Breton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 20, 2019. He was the son of the late Larry and Bertha (Brown) Gatza. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Margaret "Sis" and their three children, Pamela (Stephen), Yolanda (Marty) and Wayne; grandchildren, Beth, Mark, Laura, James, Tasha, Wayne, Louis and seven great grandchildren, Ayden, Davis, Colton, Carter, Jameson, Ilana and Jasper. He is also survived by his brothers, Sonny (Brenda), Burt (Sharon), Floyer; sisters, Margie (Michael) and Ann as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by infant daughter, Cindy Lou; brothers, George, Larry, Anthony, Joseph, Peter, Johnny and sisters, Loretta and Theresa. Louis was a coalminer for twenty four years and loved to do wood working in his spare time. Special thank you to our son-in-law, Stephen Genter for being there during Louis’ illness.
