Carla Louise MacDonald of Truro, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2019 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Montreal, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Adelle (Shippel) Millington. She is survived by her husband, Randy; son, Allan (Donna), Carbonear, NL, and their sons, Colin and Stephen; son, Stephen (Debra), New Jersey. Carla took great pride in her home, enjoyed flowers and interior decorating, but above all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 26th from 6-8pm with a Memorial Service being held Monday, May 27th at 2pm both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. Interment to immediately follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Robie St., Truro. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carla’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
