Blaikie, Dorothy Gwendolyn –Truro. Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2019 in Wynn Park Villa at the age of 95 years. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 18, 1924. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Mark), Truro, Trish (Steve), Truro; son, Gordon (Dorothy), Truro and grandchildren, Jason, Jill, Jeff, Jim, Nevin, Megan & Melissa and Ryan. She was predeceased by her husband, George and sons, Gary and Stephen. Dorothy was employed by Margolians Department Store. She was a member of the Overseas Women’s Club and St. David’s Church Women’s Club. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. A Private Interment will be held in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Donations in Dorothy’s memory, may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
