Obituary for Clifton Wood

Wood, Clifton Harris – 90, Debert. It is with heartfelt sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Clifton Harris Wood of Debert, formerly of Raynardton, NS on July 7, 2019 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born August 3, 1928 to the late Clifton and Alva (Tedford) Wood. Clifton enjoyed a career in the Canadian military before retiring to Debert, Nova Scotia after 23 years of service. He was an avid sportsman enjoying fishing and hunting, which he passed on to his sons and grandson. Family was an important part of his life and he loved his grandchildren dearly. Clifton is survived by his children, Lorna MacKinley (John) of Halifax, Robert (Wendilen Cadden) of Debert and Ronald (Diane Dunlap) of Belmont; grandchildren, Katie Marie, Jody Audrey, Molly Lisa, Daniel Russel and Kelsey Elizabeth; great grandchild, Chase Clifton and brother Eugene “James” Wood of Raynardton. Besides his parents Clifton was predeceased by his wife Audrey Louise Spinney. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at a later time in Tusket Falls Cemetery, Yarmouth County.
