Condolence: I am sorry for the Pennell family's loss of Verna. I remember her as a gentle and good-humoured woman who was always happy to welcome me into her home on the West Island of Montreal. I trust that she has found peace and that, after an inevitable time of sadness, her loved ones will be comforted by the happy memories of good times past.

Condolence: Condolences to Linda, Trudy, Faye and families, So sorry to learn of Aunt Verna's passing. I remember so well the times that Uncle Oz & Aunt Verna, as well other members of your family came to visit. Due to the distance apart i'm sorry we didn't get to spend more time together as a family. I know how heartbreaking it is to loose a parent, but we all have our memories to hold on to forever.

Condolence From: Elizabeth (Pennell) Walters
Condolence: To my cousins Linda Trudy and Faye. Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your mother Aunt Verna. I was very young the last time I saw Aunt Verna and Uncle Os in Newfoundland. It must be 50 years ago, but my memories are mostly the stories my parents told of them. I remember how my father Max was so sad the day his brother passed, he lived here in my house by then and it seemed his world had been crushed. All the siblings are gone now and all we have are our fond memories of each of them. May God sustain you at this time and know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Elizabeth and Reg Walters

Condolence From: Don Anne Pennell
Condolence: Linda, Trudy, Faye and families our thoughts are with you on the loss of you mother. Although our contact with Uncle Oz and Aunt Verna was very occasional due to the distance, we fondly remember visiting from time to time when they were in Ontario. Aunt Verna had a long life and I know her loss of family was certainly difficult for her as it must be for you, but now she is at rest. Your extended family in Newfoundland is thinking of you at this time. Don & Anne Pennell, and daughter Vanessa Pennell Mercer
