Obituary for Peggy Stewart (Taylor)

Frances Anna “Peggy” (Taylor) Stewart – 87 of Valley passed away with her husband by her side on July 17, 2019 at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Truro on May 12, 1932 to the late Lewis and Mary-Ellen (MacDougall) Taylor.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 68 years Francis “Frank” Stewart, children, Gary (Bonnie), Ken (Virginia), Deborah "Debbie" Acker (Bruce), John (Louise) and Frances “Doll” Blais (J.P.); 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and brother, Ian Taylor.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Christopher Stewart; siblings, Sonny, Helen, Nora and Eric. Peggy enjoyed traveling with Frank and was able to visit many of her extended family members throughout Canada and the United States.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro at 7 p.m. Mr. Greg MacDonald officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.ColchesterCommunity.com
