Inez Joyce McLellan – 93, Truro, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2020 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro and has gone home to be with the Lord.

Born in Debert in 1926, Inez was a daughter of the late Wellington (D.W.) and Lavenia (Hoegg) Rector.

Predeceased by her husband, John (2005); daughter, Nicola Dawn (1963); daughter-in-law, Joyce McLellan (2015); brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Hilda, Harland and Laura, Arden and Gerald; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Jim, Floris and Dell and extended families.

Also predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marshall and Charlotte McLellan, Cyril and Eileen McLellan and extended families.

Survived by son, Paul (Fran), Truro Heights; daughter, Coni (Don Murray), North River; grandchildren, Richard, Jason (Donna), Jennifer (Adam), Stacy, Lindsay, CJ and seven great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Rev. Connie Stewart officiating.
