William "Bill"  MacDonald
MacDonald, William “Bill” Arnold, age 77, Princeport, Colchester Co., passed away February 6, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Bayview, Pictou Co., he was the son of the late Arnold Matheson MacDonald and Helen Wilson (Hartling). Bill was a truck driver for most of his life being employed with Eastern Transport for twenty years and finally retiring from Home Hardware after nineteen years of service. Bill had a passion for creativity and was always tinkering around with various projects around the house. He also had a love for animals and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Maxine (Wyllie); son, Craig (Donna), Princeport; daughter, Suzanne MacDonald, Kearney Lake; grandchildren, Amber MacDonald (James Tanner), Kendra MacDonald (Steven George), Julia MacDonald (Ryan Boutilier); step granddaughter, Victoria MacKenzie; great granddaughter, Charlotte; sister, Iris MacDonald, Truro; his adoptive family, Mike and Laura-Lee Bulmer and family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Arlene (Stuart) Gamble. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of D3 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre and to friends, Danny MacDougall, Eric Simms and family, the Burris family and Ronnie Burns. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial in Fisher Creek Cemetery, Green Oaks.
