Law-Meilleur, Beverly Velma, age 73, Bible Hill, passed away on February 19, 2020 with her loving family by her side in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Pembroke, ON she was a daughter of the late James and Velma (Lavallie) Law. Bev worked for many years at the Bank of Montreal as a branch manager. She had a real passion for photography and her favorite subject was horses. She could often be found in a pasture taking pictures of these majestic creatures. Her family was everything to her. She and Peter built a wonderful life together with memories that will be cherished. Bev is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Peter; brother, James Law, Sudbury ON; sister, Catherine (Karin) Keshavjje, Edmonton AB; son, Troy (Wendy) Higgins, Truro; daughter, Tracy Higgins, Annapolis Valley; step-daughter, Michelle (Kevin) Belanger, Athens, ON; step-son, Michael Meilleur, Hamilton ON. She was affectionately known as Nanny ChooChoo to her grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Tacoma, Chevelle, Sydney, and Taylor. Also surviving are Uncle Fred and Aunt Ester Turner, North Bay, ON; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Bill Law. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 11th from 2-4 p.m. in the RCAF Association building, 22 Cottage Street, Truro. Family flowers only.
