Condolence From: John Young
Condolence: Hello to the family, My name is John Young. My father is Allister Young and he was a long time friend of Bill. I am 54 years old and have know Big Bill since I was a child in grade six. I grew up with Bill in my life and he was a larger than life character to a young boy. Late in life, I went to his place in Pleasant Valley to pick up a turkey or just a visit with my Dad. Bill grew the best turkeys that my family has ever had the privledge of eating. As a young man, I remember him on the banks of the Stewiacke River with a Ten Penny and a can of clamato juice. He always called me " John Boy" and that was a wonderful thing. I was blessed to grow up in rural Nova Scotia and got to be in contact with some wonderful people. Bill " Big Bill" Kennedy was always a favorite. He always spoke well of others and always spoke well of his Mom. His legacy will live on forever in my life and his character has been passed on to my children with great stories about him. I am very sorry for your lose and please remember he will be rememebered in wonderful stories. Sincerely, John-Allister Young

Condolence: To sisters & family of Bill Kennedy. We were very sad to read of Bill's passing. I had known the family for many years....My friend and I loved to play cards with him...he had a dry wit and could make us all chuckle....he was loved by his neighbors at Sunset Crescent. We will surely miss him and all the ones who knew him. God Bless Bill and his family....loving thoughts and prayers to you all. Sent with love and friendship. Muriel and Lea...

Condolence: Bill has left beautiful memories of laughter, music and a passion for the outdoors. As a little girl I remember his suspenders, my favorites were a set that looked like big rulers. I remember the sound of his deep laugh and voice and the music from his harmonica. He was always so kind and I am so grateful for the love of our family. He will be missed but always remembered with joy in my heart.
