Feetham, Sandra Joanne, age 64 – Brookfield, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2020 in Cedar Stone Enhanced Care, Truro, NS, where she has resided for the past several years. A daughter of the late Gordon and Katherine (Butorac) Millest, Sandra was born and grew up in Truro where she also enjoyed a fulfilling career as an R.N. within the community. She loved her work, touching many hearts with her kind smile and dedication in bringing comfort to those she cared for. Sandra spoke often of fond memories spending time at the family cottage, her school band trips, cycling to PEI, working at the Dairy Queen and countless more. Her many years living on Shortt's Lake were cherished, whether walking her dogs, boating, snowmobiling or entertaining with friends. It was a place where she found peace and happiness in doing the things she loved. Her children, who were her pride and joy, brought her great comfort as a mother. Sandra's quiet demeanor was only broken during time spent as a soccer mom. It surprised us all! Her faith was strong and certainly brought balance to family life. She has been missed for years by family and friends during her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and has now been blessed by being able to move on. Her smile will never be forgotten. Survived by immediate family, husband, Farrell; sons, Luke (Megan), Rylan; daughter, Lauren Rachelle; granddaughters, Weslie and Lea. I would like to thank Shaun and Valerie for their friendship and commitment which meant the world to Sandra. A special thanks to the entire staff of Cedarstone for the years of dedication, love, and quality of care that Sandra received while there. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. A private service will be held at a later date.
