Condolences

Condolence From: Sheila McDougall
Condolence: Myrna and family: I was sorry to read of your mother's death, but what a long and healthy life she enjoyed. After a weekend spent with you and arriving home with rave reviews of your mom's ginger cookies, my mother phoned to beg the recipe. They were a treat and remained so among the Shearer-McDougall clan. They even made their way each Christmas to a west-coast aunt who loved them. I smile when I flip through my recipe file to see Phyllis Sutherland's Ginger Cookies as they are not only a reminder of a long-enjoyed and tasty treat but of our teen-age friendship.

Condolence: Dear Myrna, girls and family,
Sincere sympathies on the death of your Mom and Grandmother. Phyllis was such a caring, fine and gentle woman. For so many years she and Freda sat in the pew behind us at church. I will always remember her lovely smile. Take care, I know you will miss her dearly.

Condolence: Dear Myrna and family - I am sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. I remember visiting your place after school (on the way to Violet Vale), and Phyllis was so welcoming, with Elmer in the background tinkering on something or other. You have a lifetime of memories to revisit, and I hope they bring you and your family comfort in the days ahead. My sincere condolences.

Condolence: Bev, Myrna and families, we were deeply saddened to hear of Aunt Phyllis's passing. This time of social distancing and self isolation makes it difficult to gather and offer comfort, but know that we are thinking of you all. We look forward to a time when we can get together and share memories and stories.
Gentle hugs,
Ian and Kathy
