Colleen Catherine MacCormack (1948-2020). It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Colleen MacCormack, of Truro. She passed peacefully November 22, 2020 with family by her side. Colleen was born and raised in Sydney (Whitney Pier), Nova Scotia, daughter of Gregory and Ruth (Hareguy) Fewer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Wilf MacCormack, their love story spanned more than their 51 years of marriage. Loving mother of three children, Dione (John) Woodrow, Chris (Danielle) and Kirt (Pam). Much loved grandmother of Brooklyn, Kai, Kadence, and Logan. She is survived by her sisters, Patricia, Ruth (Frank), Rebecca and Sheila (Gary) and her brother, Gary (Maxine). Predeceased by her brothers, Gregory and Allen. Colleen is fondly remembered by her MacCormack in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. She left us all with wonderful memories. She loved her network of Truro friends and family. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will occur when COVID-19 subsides. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local food bank.
