Obituary for Lloyd 'Sidney' Johnson

Lloyd 'Sidney' Johnson
Johnson, Lloyd “Sidney” - Dad, Grampy Sid - born June 9, 1948, of Brookfield, passed away December 1, 2020, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre following a brief illness with cancer.
Born in Upper Musquodoboit, he was a son of Lloyd and Violet (Dean) Johnson.
Sid truly enjoyed working in the community for Canada Post, and for many years prior, was employed in the trucking industry. He loved farming, not only as a lifestyle, but had a true passion for his beef cows. His hobbies were dancing, gardening, fishing, playing cards and woodworking. It brought him great joy to share these with his family. He also loved telling stories and making people laugh.
He leaves behind his dance partner, wife, Margie (Archibald); son, Vernon (Crystal) Johnson and their children, Kole and Jayden McFadyen, Emma and Ethan Johnson; daughter, Alison (Vito) Famiglietti and their son, Rocco; daughter, Lauren (Tyler) Howard and their children, McKenzie, TJ, Tegan and Baby Howard; sisters, Susan Crews and Sylvia (John) Thomopoulos and brother, Bill Johnson. Also, his loving mother-in-law, Gwen (Dartt) Archibald.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Roy Crews; niece, Susan Smith, and nephew, Richard Smith.
Thank you to the Continuing Care team and the Palliative Care Unit in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
