I have just recently heard about Linda's passing and remember her kindness and generosity when she and the McCurdy family hosted me at their cottage many, many years ago.  It was a new experience for me, first time away from home, and she made me feel cared for.  I distinctly remember that she also had a funny way of telling Danny and Barry to stay out of trouble when the three of us went out in Greenwood, NS.
