Johnson, John Andrew “Andy” – Age 55, Onslow, passed March 7, 2021. He was a son of John Durward “Jack” Johnson, Lower Truro and Marjorie Ethel Johnson, (Cotter), Halifax. Andy was a long haul truck driver for many years, driving all over Canada and the US as an owner/operator. In recent years he operated heavy machinery at various construction sites from Nova Scotia to Alberta. He also loved to spend most of his spare time behind the wheel, off-roading with friends in his favourite “toy” trucks, landscaping, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles and working on various classic cars and race cars over the years. He loved road trips with his daughter and was a big kid at heart, always fascinated by toys and puzzles and was happiest being outside.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan; parents, Jack and Marjorie; brothers, Dave, Eric and Bruce; sister, Susan (Giffin) and many nieces and nephews.
If so desired, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association - Colchester Branch.
