Carol "Carrie"  Tattrie
Tattrie, Carol “Carrie” Gertrude – Age 74, Truro. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our mother on April 5, 2021 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro with her children by her side. Born October 6, 1946 in River John, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Hiltz) Joudrie. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Richard (Sharon), Truro, Lynn (Lowell) Sherry, Truro and Scott (Paulette) Moncton, NB; her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Rylie, Anne-Ashley, Brady, Mykaela, Jaclyn, Brielle and her great grandchildren, Lucas and Owen. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, Ralph (Cecelia), Wayne (Gloria), Frank (Carol), Roger (Rose); sisters-in-law, Peggy Miller, Joan (Geoff) Hollings, Rose (Peter) Johnson, Brenda (Carmen) Tattrie, Mary Ann Tattrie (whom she considered her daughter), Janet Tattrie along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dick; sisters, Violet Redmond and Lois Hunter; brother, Raymond Joudrie. The family would like to thank her niece, Debbie Pryor for the love, support and countless visits to Mom as well as Barb Bryanton for the care and kindness provided to Mom while she was still at home. Thank you to Dr. Kelly for her kindness, compassion and care provided to Mom while she was in hospital as well as the nurses on 3rd floor “D” wing.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, July 24th at 11am in Colchester Community Funeral Home, Truro, with interment to follow in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. If so desired, donations may be made to SPCA or VON. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS.
