Obituary for Calvin Paris
Paris, Calvin Leslie, Age 49, Truro. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Calvin on June 14, 2021 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Ralph Willis Jr. He is survived by his mother, Gloria; sisters, Sonya and Tara; brother, Kyle Paris; fiancé, Paula; many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He had special relationships with his uncle, Wade; cousin, Frankie and cousin, Sherry.
Anyone who knew Calvin, which is almost everyone in Truro, knew how big his heart was. He loved his family and would do anything for anyone. He had an infectious laugh that he shared daily with his friends and family. He would stop and speak to everyone he met on his travels and always had a kind word to say. He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan and if you were not, you probably would not want to be around him during playoff season.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre for the great support they gave him during his long stay there. Also, a huge thank you to the staff at Change Up Support Inc., who because of their kindness, allowed Calvin to have the best three months of his life. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Donations in memory of Calvin, may be made to the Apex Scholarship Fund.
Due to COVID -19 restrictions, the family will host a celebration of life at a further date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.ColchesterCommunity.com.
