Carrigan, Michael Patrick - Age 63 of Truro, passed away suddenly on June 27, 2021 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro due to complications with his heart.
He was born in Truro on March 16, 1958 and was a son of Betty Carrigan and the late Donald Carrigan.
When Michael was younger, he was a “Base Brat” travelling with his father, Donald who was in the Military for many years. He eventually decided to join himself and became a Military Cook for many years. Following his time in the Military, Michael worked a lot of different jobs. After completing his education and working with the Corps of Commissionaires for several years, he became the full-time care giver to his mother, Betty, whom he loved dearly. Mike loved to cook, was always smiling or joking and could always make everyone laugh. He loved his family very much, especially his daughter, Brittany who was his pride and joy since the day she was born. He loved his friends and was always willing to help anyone in any way he could. Michael was a great man and an even greater father who will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
