Obituary for Debra Chisholm
Debra Elizabeth Chisholm – 70, North River, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 11, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Ruby (McWhiter) Parsons.
Deb worked for many years as a support worker for Colchester Small Options. She enjoyed plants, a good hand of cards and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steve; daughter, Kimberly (Roddy) Skidmore; stepsons, Tim Chisholm, Kevin Chisholm; grandchildren, Shelby (Billy) McNutt, Randy (Melanie) Skidmore, Katie Skidmore, Logan Skidmore, Crystal Chisholm, Tanner Chisholm, Bailey Chisholm, Jacob Chisholm, Colin Chisholm, Dennis Chisholm; great grandson, Jayce Morris; sister, Barb Rheaume; brothers, Boyd (Shirley) Parsons as well as many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Gerald Parsons (Dorothy), Keith Parsons.
Deb was also predeceased by a special client of hers, Dale MacKinnon, who was like son to her.
In keeping with her wishes, Cremation has taken place with no visitation or funeral service by request. Donations may be made to the VON or Palliative Care. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.ColchesterCommunity.com
