Condolence From: Margaret Sagar
Condolence: Dear Ann, Andrew, Heather, and Doris and families, I am very late in writing here- my sincere condolences to you all on your loss of dear Campbell. He was such a fine and faithful person and I treasure my experiences with him and those memories while I was Minister at St Andrew's. He was always encouraging, yet honest with me, and deeply caring to all. His commitment to God and to his life of faith were outstanding. I have a beautiful letter from him in my farewell album which brings tears to my eyes. I know my late husband Alan also deeply appreciated Campbell especially since they both loved scouting and served together on the Scout Committee. I was saddened to learn of the deterioration of his health in recent years and my heart goes out to each of you in your loss. I am grateful for his part in my ministry and journey. May he now rest in peace and rise in glory and may you each be comforted by your cherished memories and all the love which he gave to you. Wonderful gifts of love and kindness to so many people. "Well done thou good and faithful servant! "

Condolence From: Allan and Lydia Sorflaten
Condolence: Dearest Anne & Family: As you may realize, I worked closely with Campbell for most of his years with the federal agriculture department. From that experience I am most thankful for having had the opportunity to know Campbell not only as a sensitive and caring working colleague, but also for his devotion to the field of agriculture and the excellent personal traits that he brought to his management role with the Department. First and foremost I found Campbell to be a “people person”; sensitive, caring and always able to make time for the other person no matter how busy the schedule. In our organization’s management structure for a period of time I reported to Campbell. In that role he always left me with the impression that I mattered more than other details. His caring and sensitivity I believe is what made him such an excellent manager. Lydia and I wish to convey these words to you as reassurance that others like ourselves have held Campbell in very high regard. We too will continue to remember him with our own fond memories. To you and your other family members we send our sincere condolences on your loss. Allan & Lydia Sorflaten January 25, 2022

Condolence From: Donna Langille
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Campbell's family upon his passing. I often worked with Campbell on projects during my time working for the Federation of Agriculture. Being another product of farm upbringing on the North Shore, Campbell and I usually had a lot to discuss and often reminisced about people we both knew. During his retirement Campbell would at times drop in to our farm to discuss genealogy with my late husband, who was also a proud Scot. We enjoyed his company.

Condolence From: Karen A. Rowlands
Condolence: Dear Ann & family- So sorry to read in the Chronicle Herald that Campbell has passed away. Campbell was a lot of fun and a true gentleman. It has been a few years since I have seen Campbell but I can remember attending a "Gunn" clan reunion at East River St. Mary's and at that event Campbell and I had a couple of dances. He was such a good sport. Thinking of you, your family and Doris with sincere, deepest sympathy. Loving thoughts and Hugs, Karen (Gunn) Rowlands (So you will know my connection: My grandfather, John Thomas Gunn was, I believe, a first cousin to Campbell's dad and my dad was Murray Gunn. My mother was Jean (Ferguson) Gunn whose dad had a farm on Brule Point. When I was growing up we often visited with Tom & Nettie Gunn - I believe Campbell's sister Doris lives on the home place now)

Condolence From: Joseph Wynne
Condolence: There are a number of people I am indebted to for the care and concern shown over the years, and Campbell Gunn was one of them. Campbell never asked for anything in return; all he wanted to know was that you were alright! And if there was anything he could do for you. So, it is with great sadness to hear of his death. You will always remain a part of my life's journey Campbell. Be strong and of good courage, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you..."
