Condolences

Condolence From: Faye Langtry
Condolence: I first met Carol when I would return to Beech Hill Farm with Dad to visit with the Roper family. In later years, we would enjoy Carol's music if we were dining at the Glengarry or the Holiday Inn. Dad would beam as Carol made a fuss over him, and always played him a special song, with that wonderful twinkle in her eye. The town of Truro has lost a wonderful entertainer. Carol, you will be missed.

Condolence: Thinking of you all today Lori, Carrie, and Jenny. Carol was such an inspiration for us all. Never saw her without a smile on her face. One of my best memories of Carol was driving by her house on a sunny day and seeing her sitting in the car with her face to the sun! My kind of person. And also her nickname for Camilla….Camileta! Such a special woman. Big hugs to you all.

Condolence From: Eleanor McNutt (Ellie Monk)
Condolence: I was a younger Princeport girl and remember listening to the Saturday Night Jamboree on the radio and hearing "The Roper Sisters", Carol and Kathy singing with their beautiful voices. Then in later years I met her when she was "tickling the ivories" at The Glengarry, and with a wink she said "I will play a tune for you Ellie", and she did. She was so musical, friendly, and a great piano player. She will be missed.
