Condolence: Bruce touched so many lives with his boundless energy and strength. We remember him knocking on our door with a big smile on his face after jogging up King Street to report on the work he did for us on Fitzpatrick Mountain. A constant reminder of his woodworking skills is the Deacon bench we treasure that he made for the silent auction for the Girls Choir.A good man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolence From: Catherine Gaulton and David Mosher
Condolence: Dear Nancy, Robbie and Mary and your whole family. Our family’s thoughts are with you all during this time - this world has lost the greatest of men. We loved and will always love Bruce and all of you as a wonderful family who share so many of Bruce’s characteristics - respect and genuine interest in others, great humour, kindness, love of life and fine intelligence in all of its forms. From my (Cathy) first meeting with Bruce 37 years ago when his first words were “walk much” as I tripped over a hose on the lawn and while he, at the same time, wrapped a warm arm around my shoulder and offered a huge welcome into the house - I knew how special it was to have Bruce in my life. That has, of course, been confirmed in spades over the years. David’s history with Bruce is much longer and is even richer. So many great memories that we know will be a true comfort for you. Please know that we are both here for you always.

Condolence From: Bob Cook and Mary Myke
Condolence: To Nancy, Rob, and Mary We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences on Bruce's passing. Bruce loved life and everything about it. Nobody fought harder for life than he did. Bruce had a natural curiosity about the world around him. His interests were both varied and eclectic. I recall his decision to participate in a weekend workshop on identifying the many varieties of wild mushrooms growing in Nova Scotia. From there, he mastered the art of smoking fish, both skills tied to his love of the great outdoors. Bruce's practice of dropping in unannounced couldn't help but brighten your day. His descriptions of his interactions with the health care system were hilarious and told without rancor or criticism. He was a remarkably gifted humorist and storyteller. In addition to his ability to entertain, he was a remarkably good friend to a wide variety of people. He truly liked people and people, in turn, were drawn to him. We, and many others will miss him greatly.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear about Mr Moore’s passing. I was one of those students many many years ago in OPP. Whenever any of us talk about those days he is usually the first name that comes up. He treated each and every one of us like we were a part of his family and he’s the reason many of us graduated high school. Such a special man and there will never be anyone like him. Again, deepest condolences to his family and friends who will be missing this stellar man.

Condolence: To the family of the late Mr Bruce Moore ,a co worker and a very good friend. I had the privilege to be the bus driver that delivered the students that Mr Moore taught at various work sites (in the Woods)for a good seven years until I retired. I knew of his struggles with his health but he always seemed to be one step ahead of it! My heart aches for you as he was a fine caring man and treated the people he worked with as equal. I will miss our quick catch ups over a cup of tea once or twice a year . My Sincere Sympathy Elaine & Gerard Delaney.

Condolence From: Sherry Cheek /James Cheek
Condolence: Nancy, Mary, Rob and Family Words cannot express my grief over Bruce's passing. We worked in such a small department that we were truly like a little extension of family...I guess our work family. There was barely a day went by that we were not in stitches in laughter over some antics that Bruce had gotten up to...Setting the woods on fire (a student not him), pumpkin growing contests not to forget his Oceans Exams that would be set up in aquariums from one end of the school to the other and the closeness that we shared with our students. He was the reason why many of our kids actually graduated from going to a home to get a student out of bed to dragging them kicking and screaming into the school from the smoking pit!!!! Bruce was one in a million and I am truly blessed to call him my colleague and dear friend!!!! He will be forever missed...hope he and Bill Peart are having a large discussion with Maureen Murphy over a pot of tea. Until we meet again.. your suffering is now over...""Ole Man Moore"...I am so sorry I missed your last phone call...I have played your message over at least 100 times!! Sherry
