Condolence From: Chris Brown
Condolence: I just learned of Michael’s passing from a former colleague. I did not know him for a long time but enjoyed getting to know him in my time at economic development for the province. Some of the attributes noted in the obituary were consistent with his presence at work. He spoke of his love for his partner and kids and how much he had looked forward to post work. He was fair, funny, listened well and was a calming presence in a period of transition for a lot of us at work. The anchor reference resonates. I really enjoyed working with Michael and was saddened to hear of his passing.

Condolence From: Murdock and Connie Morrison
Condolence: Connie and I were saddened to learn that Michael had passed as we had just recently found out that he was sick and didn't know that his health was comprised to the extent that it was. We are close friends of Natalie's mother Joy and our hearts are broken for Natalie and their two boys and for Joy as she loved her two grandson's. This is a loss that is hard to understand as it had happened so quickly and our prayers and thoughts will be with Natalie and her two son's during this very difficult time. God Bless - Murdock and Connie Morrison

Condolence: Dear Natalie and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Michael's passing and your/our great loss. He was not just a great colleague but also a wonderful mentor and friend. He left a great impact on many people's life including my life. I always enjoyed our conversations. He was always supportive through the years. I first met him when we worked together in Immigration and kept in touch regularly through time afterward. Comfort to remember that the first thing that comes to mind when remembering Micheal is his cheerful personality and lively presence whenever he entered any room making everyone smile. Thinking of you through this difficult time. Sincerely, Rany

Condolence From: Desmond Jones
Condolence: Michael's passing is a shock to everyone, and I cannot even imagine the sense of loss that represents for his loved ones: family, friends, former colleagues, and acquaintances, etc. I am sad and at a loss particularly for his loved ones and family. Michael was a wonderful colleague and former colleague, and I will always cherish our occasional 3-musketeers beverage sessions where we always resolve but fail to solve the world's problems; and now we're going to be missing our 'lead musketeer'! I would like to express my sincerest and deepest condolences to Natalie, and the rest of his family. Rest easy Mike; gone way too soon.
